Apple should abandon the keyboard “butterfly” and return to the good old “scissors.”

In 2015, Apple inaugurated a brand new “butterfly” keyboard regarding the mechanism present under the keys of the object. Announced as more efficient and more accurate, this keyboard has experienced many malfunctions, so much so that the brand at the apple would have recently returned to the old keyboard in “scissors”, according to information Ming-Chi Kuo, a specialist recognized products of the American firm, relayed by Presse-Citron.

Too sensitive to dust

Keys that crash, duplicate characters or do not appear: Many MacBook users have complained about a lack of reliability of the device.

The MacBook, MacBook Pro 13 “and 15” are particularly affected by this problem. The promise was beautiful though: the “butterfly” keyboard features an innovative design and speeds up typing. However, it was also very sensitive to dust and other particles.

Apple returns to scissors

Apple has tried to fix this problem by adding a membrane that is supposed to block dust. In vain. The company has set up a free replacement program for all MacBooks equipped with a defective keyboard.

Today, the American giant is considering returning to the keyboard “scissors, ”, which is also cheaper to produce. It will include the new version of the MacBook Air, whose release is scheduled for the end of 2019, and the new MacBook Pro in 2020.
