After 17 years after Star Trek, Patrick Stewart again performed Jean Luc-Picard’s role: Nemesis broadcast in 2002.
In this series, there will be a difference in Jean Luc-Picard’s approach to the character, as in previous Star Trek stories Picard is not the same person.
Star Trek is a TV series franchise with several movies shows following Star Trek’s original version: The Original Series, namely; The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, Enterprise, and Discovery.
While Picard, the primary protagonist in the Star Trek sequence: In the second sequence, Picard is the leader, namely Star Trek: The Next Generation, which broadcast from 1987 to 1994.
Producer of the Star Trek franchise: Picard Alex Kurtzman at SDCC said he could only state that there would be challenges in this series.
“In this series, you’ll all get some shocks, that’s all I can tell,” he said.
The presence of several stars in past Star Trek films such as Commander Data (performed by Brent Spiner), Seven of Nine (performed by Jeri Ryan), and Hugh the Borg (Jonathan Del Arco) are some shocks mentioned.
Star Trek: Picard will broadcast on the CBS All Access in 2020 and will be broadcast on paid Amazon Prime broadcasts internationally.
