Honda invests €140 million in the engine’s development for the F-1 cars

Japanese automaker Honda is investing 140 million euros in the development of an engine for Formula 1 cars for the 2020 season.

Honda supplies motors to the Red Bull and Toro Rosso teams, for which Russian driver Daniil Kvyat stands for.

As noted, Honda has increased the staff of its Formula 1 unit from 250 people in 2017 to 450 this season to catch up with the leading F-1 minders – Mercedes and Ferrari.
