The acting head of state, Abdelkader Bensalah, signed a decree on 4 July, ending the functions of two ambassadors. They are Abdelhamid Bouzaher as Algerian Ambassador to Tripoli and Abdelaziz Lahiouel as Algerian Ambassador to Canberra.
In addition, Abdelkader Bensalah signed another decree ending the functions of two consuls-general (Abdelghani Cheriaf in Montreal and Bahia Lebcir in Istanbul).
The head of the state has also ended the functions of two consuls. They are Abdelaziz Ouyedder in El Kef (Republic of Tunisia) and Rahima Boukadoum in Metz (French Republic).
