Austria: Inflation drops to 1.6% in June

Vienna – Inflation in Austria fell to 1.6% year-on-year in June after falling to 1.7% in the previous two months, Statistik Austria said on Wednesday.
Housing mainly drove prices (3.1%) and hospitality (3.1%).
Over a month, inflation is up 0.1%, after 0.2% in May.
According to the harmonized Eurostat standard, year-on-year inflation was 1.6% in June, after 1.7% the previous month.
Austria’s average inflation was 2% in 2018, after 2.1% in 2017, its highest level in five years.
