Gaspé Peninsula: In Sainte-Anne-des-Monts in the Gaspé Peninsula, a large and enigmatic police operation has been ongoing since Thursday, presumably in conjunction with a disappearance.

Police have scant knowledge of the specifics of this case, but they have established a crime scene, but it is impossible to know what a crime it has perpetrated.

The judicial agency is on hand, and the area is being combed by officers.

Even more nebulous, police focused much of the afternoon on the 1st lane, in another part of Sainte-Anne-des-Monts. The spot was combed.

The house reviewed on Friday had recently been rented, according to a meeting of a neighbor.

The analysts gather information and map the field out. It may relate the incident to a suspected suicide, but the authorities refuse to disclose information so as not to intervene with the investigation.

Are those two scenes connected? Unthinkable to say at the moment.

In the coming hours, a squad of Sûreté du Québec de Montréal police officers will be on the scene.
